I gave up Facebook for Lent. (& Twitter, although that wasn’t really a big deal.)
In participating in Lent, I fasted yesterday for Ash Wednesday…that wasn’t a happy day.
So in saying all of that…I’m a bit obsessed with the Internet and social networking sites, so ta-dah!
Hello again, Tumblr!

CUPD: Five Clemson students charged with dining hall burglary
Five Clemson University students were charged with burglary in connection with an early-morning Monday break-in at Schilletter Dining Hall on campus.
The five are Adam Joseph Leblanc, 20, a junior from Rock Hill; Daniel Blake Shorter, 19, a junior from Anderson; Corbin Allen Nichols, 18, a Bridge program student from Anderson; William Adams Bolt, 20, a junior from Anderson; and Miles Patrick Bryan, 20, a junior from Anderson. Each was charged with burglary in the second degree, a felony, and simple larceny less than $1,000 in connection with the break-in and theft of food shortly aftermidnight Monday.
They were arrested Wednesday and each was released on a $5,407 personal recognizance bond.
The cases also were referred to the university’s Office of Community and Ethical Standards.

Sunday:
-wake up for early service after staying up late working on powerpoint of pictures from salkehatchie after getting home from babysitting all night
-get suckered into staying for second service while also mooching breakfast from church people
-come home and take a nap because eyes won’t stay open anymore
-spend all afternoon working on math hw, mymathlab, and masteringphysics, as well as attempting to read physics book
-bake lots of cookies & brownies to take to church for Salkehatchie people
-continue trying to read physics before passing out from exhaustion
Monday:
-wake up super early to take cookies & brownies to church, as well as help make sandwiches for Salkehatchie people
-go pick up lunch for mom & friend and take it to them
-spend hours at the public library listening to online video lectures about thermal energy and heat
-go to Best Buy to return the $100 tablet that was “necessary” for math class because it doesn’t work with the online program
-spend the remainder of the evening working on math hw and masteringphysics (which was completed with only 20 minutes to spare)
-finish reading the chapter from today and begin working on the chapter for tomorrow
-spend hours in bed tossing and turning because mind is full of useless, unimportant things
Tuesday:
-wake up to finish reading physics chapter for the day
-begin working on mymathlab, math hw, and masteringphysics, as well as listening to recorded math lectures
-attempt to memorize trig derivatives and integrals, and all that other useless calculus nonsense for exam at 9 am on wednesday morning
-continue trying to avoid the inevitable by posting on tumblr and randomly checking facebook for nonexistent notifications
-hope to go to bed early because waking up early and driving two and a half hours on no sleep can’t be good

because you never asked that’s why!
& you can’t expect answers about things outside of tumblr. it’s like a nice little place where things are said and stay there.
“what happens (i.e. is said) on tumblr, stays on tumblr.”
If you don’t want to talk to someone, grow some balls and tell them, instead of just never responding. That’s what considerate people do.
Despite what people think, Salkehatchie is about growing in your faith & serving others because we should follow Christ’s example. It isn’t a vacation or time away from home. It’s working your butt off because someone else needs something, an idea that suburban youth of today have no understanding of.
Being anxious, nervous, and a little fearful of what God has in store for you in the coming days and years is a sign that you understand what his mighty power is capable of doing in your life.
Taking the time to listen to what people have to say and just offering an ear is one of the best things you can do.
you have no idea…
i never realized how many “suitors” i’ve had until i actually sat down and thought about it. yikes…i feel like a true floozy.
Floozies ftw ;)
